November 12, 2012 (El Cajon) - In honor of El Cajon's centennial celebration, each chapter of this year's 66th annual Mother Goose Parade will be dedicated to a 10-year period of the city's history.
Mayor Mark Lewis will be the grand marshall of the parade, which features elaborate floats, equestrians, marching bands, and Santa Claus to usher in the holiday season.
Children and adults alike enjoy this East County tradition, the largest parade of its kind west of the Mississippi.
The Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on November 18 at East Main Street at Magnolia Avenue in Downtown El Cajon. The parade travels eastbound on East Main Street to Second Street, then north on Second Street to Madison Avenue.
